A day after roughing up University of Michigan-Dearborn 6-1, Indiana (11-14-2) fell by the same score this Saturday.
The two teams fought a closely-contested first period that did not yield any goals. In the second, the flood gates opened with UMD pouring in three goals en route to a 3-1 lead going into the third. Four more Dearborn goals in the game's final period solidified the Hoosier defeat in the team's final home game this season.
IU will be back at it next weekend when the team visits Champaign to take on Illinois. Both games Friday and Saturday are 8:30pm ET starts.
